So Chi has even less of a reason to find her mother. Plus actual cats in the book don't talk about their parents so it's clear cats here are the same as real life cats. Chi's already forgotten her and it feels too convenient to have them just reunite together when Chi has a home.

I didn't really care for the side plot of getting Chi back to her mother. I've heard these guys don't grow up in the series(which is how most series go, locked in time), but I can't help but keep wondering what some of these kittens will look like as adults. We see Chis ""rival"" finally show up in this book, Cocchi is quite the plot changer, as he is grumpy but also a kitten too. The world Chi lives in is obviously very cat dominated and I quite like the variety of them we are shown. I am impressed to see a rabbit in this series, seems a very unlikely thing to see.

While a bit smaller than the first one, it's packed with far more characters. Chi's Sweet Home part two is, like its series tends to be, a very expensive book(averaging around thirty dollars) but a wonderful one.
